Polallie Ridge

Polallie Ridge Professional Review and Guide

"Pack sunscreen, your wildflower guide, binoculars for bird-watching, and water—plenty of water! This trail climbs ceaselessly along an open ridge, providing some of the greatest panoramic views to be found in the eastern Cascades.

This is also a bird-rich region, thanks to the plethora of wildflowers and their associated insect populations, and a popular grazing route for deer and even herds of mountain goats. This all adds up to a wonderful wilderness experience. All you have to do to enjoy it is plod upward, endlessly, on a sun-baked trail without a bit of water in sight."
