Boulder Creek–Gallagher Head Lake

Boulder Creek–Gallagher Head Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Boulder Creek basin has largely been ignored by the Washington hiking community, and that’s a shame! This route offers incredible wild?ower viewing and a rich immersion into the natural world of the Cascade’s dry-side ecosystem.

You’ll encounter birds and beasts, ?owers and trees that exemplify the beauty of the eastern Washington montane. The trail starts on an easy hillside traverse that leads into the Boulder Creek valley. The trail runs under the heavy canopy of a lush second-growth pine forest, keeping you well shaded as you climb toward the lake at the head of the valley."
