Stetattle Ridge Traverse

Stetattle Ridge Traverse Professional Review and Guide

"Stetattle Ridge is one of the prime crests in North Cascades National Park. You will start with distant vistas of the Picket Range, the Pasayten Wilderness, and Davis Peak. As the traverse unfolds, you will get an ever-closer aspect of turquoise Azure Lake. Any point along the ridge is supremely scenic, but the culmination is the up-close intimidating outlook to McMillan Spire’s cirque at the edge of the Pickets.

A one-way scramble, with a long cross-country ridge run in the middle, will allow you to cover the most new scenery, but you must arrange in advance for transportation at Ross Dam, where the one-way trip ends."
