"This is a nice wooded and grassy 103-acre site on the north bank of the Skagit River, a designated Wild and Scenic River. This is steelhead country, and the fishing is reputed to be good here.

The park is home to the Skagit River Interpretive Center and the Bald Eagle Awareness Team. Annual events include the Bald Eagle Festival, guest speakers, guided walks, and educational programs."
