Rainbow Falls Cruise

Rainbow Falls Cruise Professional Review and Guide

"The region between Puget Sound to the north and the Columbia River to the south is a lightly populated wonderland of forests, rivers, and small farms. Bicyclists can enjoy hundreds of miles of low-traffic roads through lush evergreen environments, with occasional stops in friendly communities. Each curve of this ride offers a delightful view.

You'll enjoy 24 miles of riding through beautiful forests and quite farmlands before encountering a single store. Much of Rainbow Falls State Park is covered with virgin forests of towering cedar, fir and hemlock trees. Terrain: most of the ride follows low-traffic roads through farm valleys, plus 12 miles of riding on the shoulder of Hwy. 6. The alternative route avoids traffic but requires 5 miles of gravel roads through forest-covered hills."
