Sunrise Peak

Sunrise Peak Professional Review and Guide

"Sunrise Peak is a prominent rocky fortress, fit for a lookout tower. Not shockingly, one stood here until the 1960s, guarding the ridges beyond. Summer wildflowers on the flanks of the peak put on one of the best shows in the area, and huckleberries in late season ripen up for a delectable feast in the sunny open meadows.

During the week, you’ll be lucky to see another body, and if you do, it will probably be covered in fur. If you haven’t gone to Sunrise Peak, it’s worth the trip. Put it on your bucket list—you won’t be disappointed!"
