Krause Ridge Loop

Krause Ridge Loop Professional Review and Guide

"Highlights: Great singletrack through a mature lowland forest and nice views of the Cispus River Valley. Tread: 3.4 miles singletrack; 2.4 miles doubletrack. Hazards: Occasional switchbacks and logs along the trail.

From Portland, take Interstate 5 north 68 miles to U.S. Highway 12. Head east on U.S. 12 for 48 miles to Randle. From there go south on Forest Service 25 for 6.5 miles to FS 2506 on the left. Follow this road 2.3 miles to its junction with FS 037, park here (2.5 to 3 hours from Portland)."
