Let the Blooming Begin Columbia Basin Wildflowers

Let the Blooming Begin: Columbia Basin Wildflowers Professional Review and Guide

"It’s the beginning of the wildflower season, Mother Nature’s annual garden party. Pack a picnic and take a driving tour of Beezley Hills to look for rare hedgehog cacti and other early wildflowers.

This lovely mid-April wildflower drive (with easy walks) takes us through lands managed by the BLM, Washington Department of Natural Resources, and The Nature Conservancy (TNC). Stop and walk around at marked locations on the map to explore hillsides covered with shooting stars, bluebells, and phlox; a wash with large numbers of brodiaea and bitterroot; and a wet draw with an impressive display of lupine and balsamroot."
