Willaby Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This wooded campground covers 7 acres in Olympic National Forest. The swimming is good, and there is a boat ramp. The beach is rocky, but the water is “warm” according to the local forest ranger—45 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Ouch! That is comparable to the temperature of Puget Sound. Nevertheless, the water is clean and brisk.

The lake is part of the Quinault Indian Nation, so a tribal fishing permit and boat decal are required. Both may be purchased at local merchants."
