Pony Bridge, Enchanted Valley, and Anderson Glacier

Quinalt Indian Reservation, Washington

Pony Bridge, Enchanted Valley, and Anderson Glacier Professional Review and Guide

"The East Fork Quinault River Trail is a long and outstandingly beautiful path that offers a wide variety of options, all of them superb, depending on your energy level, when you are visiting, and the amount of time you have available.

If your time is limited, the hike to Pony Bridge is great fun in any season. The low-elevation rain forest is terrific, the wildlife (especially elk in the winter) is abundant, and the destination is a bridge spanning an extremely photogenic fern-lined canyon where a beautiful, clear river charges through a narrow chasm."
