Falls View Falls

Falls View Falls Professional Review and Guide

"Falls View Falls is a narrow ribbon of water (averaging just 5 feet wide) dropping down a verdant, nearly vertical cliff into Quilcene Canyon some 200 feet below. While it’s hard to get up close, the view from the Falls View Loop Trail across Quilcene Canyon gives an almost aerial perspective.

Even though it may be short as far as hikes go, the walk to check out Falls View Falls packs a punch. The single-track trail ducks into heavy second- growth forest at its start and then soon takes hikers to the rim of Quilcene Canyon. A tall chain- link fence protects people (and pets) from falling hundreds of feet into the canyon below. After 100 feet of flat hiking, the views open up across Quilcene Canyon to Falls View Falls, a ribbon of milky white bisecting an otherwise green canopy–encrusted canyon wall."

Very short hike. Pretty falls. I walked around the campground as well.
