Olympic Discovery Trail: Port Angeles Waterfront Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"What better place to tour Washington State’s coast than on the turbulent Strait of Juan de Fuca? Especially when you can also see Victoria in front of you and the Olympic Mountain Range behind you. This stretch of the Olympic Discovery Trail also lets you stroll along the downtown waterfront, through lumber holding areas, and past an active mill. By continuing east you’ll travel right beside an undeveloped shoreline of the strait.

An ideal spot to start your trip is at the City Pier on Railroad Avenue near Lincoln Street. It is the starting point for the trail mileposts, which increase in number as you head east toward milepost 22 at Whitefeather Way on the south side of Sequim and milepost 28 northeast of Blyn."

Constent wind from the West makes for a difficult ride to enjoy. Trail poorly marked and confusing through the paper mill you have to ride through to make it to Ediz Hook.
