Hurricane Hill

Hurricane Hill Professional Review and Guide

"A 7.4-mile day hike from Hurricane Ridge to the Elwha Valley. This trail offers a scenic walk from Hurricane Ridge all the way down to the floor of the Elwha Valley. It begins as a paved nature trail that climbs gradually along a meadowy ridgeline.

There are outstanding views of the Bailey Range here, and black-tailed deer and Olympic marmots are sometimes sighted. The trail soon reaches a saddle where the stark and forbidding heights of Mount Angeles can be seen to the east. The Little River Trail drops from this low pass into the valley to the north."
