Wenatchee River Whitewater

Wenatchee River (Whitewater) Professional Review and Guide

"The Wenatchee is a snow-fed river running off the east side of the North Cascades. It is probably the most popular and frequently run river in Washington.

After the winter snowpack has melted and pooled in Lake Wenatchee, the river thunders through Tumwater Canyon and exits near Leavenworth. “Wenatchee” comes from a Native American name for the river, which means “river flowing from canyon.”"
