Fishhook Park

Fishhook Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This park is truly in the middle of the proverbial nowhere on the eastern shore of the Snake River, where it has been dammed to create Lake Sacajawea. Ice Harbor Dam is 10 miles downriver, Eureka Flat is to the east, and the Juniper Dunes Wilderness is to the west across the
river.

Any towns nearby are on the other side of the river, so a boat would be the advised transportation. The wooded campground sits on the historic Lewis and Clark Trail, and water access is easy. Tents on the lawns must be moved every 2 days. The park gates are locked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m."
