Silver Falls Trail

Silver Falls Trail Professional Review and Guide

"This short, beautiful day hike takes you to spectacular Silver Falls. Silver Falls opens early in the year due to its low elevation, and visitors can enjoy the falls as early as May. The trail wanders through a beautiful forest. Traffic can be very heavy on this trail, since the trailhead is located at Ohanapecosh Campground."

Very nice enjoyable hike. We discovered this trail after our cancelled hike at Paradise (36 degrees) on the way down to lower elevations for warmth. The falls are greatt and we had our lunch on the rocks right at the falls. If you take this hike be sure to continue on for .5 miles and catch the trail of the "Grove of the Patriarchs" Huge old trees and a fun suspension bridge to cross. A great family hike.
