Packwood-Paradise-Stevens Canyon Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe Mount Rainier National Park. And since 40-plus miles of this route pass right through some of the park’s most incredible natural splendors, it stands to reason that words will have a hard time doing this route justice.

This route is a kind-of RAMROD Jr. (Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day). About half the length of RAMROD, it includes the long climb to Paradise and the 3-mile ascent of Backbone Ridge, but not the 9-mile climb to Cayuse Pass."
