Bluff Lake Trail to Lost Lake Lookout Site

Bluff Lake Trail to Lost Lake Lookout Site Professional Review and Guide

"Hike to Bluff Lake and climb the strenuous trail up Coal Creek Mountain to the site of a long-abandoned lookout and tremendous views. The view from here is far better than any along the trail so far. To the northeast the White Pass Highway and White Pass Ski Area are far below in the distance. Mount Rainier is in full view to the northwest. To the east Coyote Lake is below, and to the southeast are the jagged spires of Goat Rocks. To the right of Goat Rocks is Mount Adams and to its right, far in the distance to the south, is Mount Hood."
