Little River Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"Hike along the South Branch Little River past mossy and ferny basaltic walls, towering old growth, and a procession of mesmerizing rapids. Hiking this trail all the way to Hurricane Hill is long and tough, but turning around at a little cascade in an elfin gulch before the serious climbing begins makes for a delightful outing.
This historical trail once led to active mines and a fire lookout on Hurricane Hill, but it fell out of favor with hikers over the years. Recently, volunteers brushed the tread and rebuilt the bridges, and this trail is getting a second look.
Dogs are prohibited at park boundary."
