    Great trail. Access is
unusual (this also applies to the Copper Creek trail). The causeway over the North end of Lake Cushman is damaged and there is a locked gate on the east end. Park there.
The trailhead is just past the end of the causeway (about the last 30 feet are a temporary structure). Copper Creek is a few hundred or so yards more. Excellent early spring trail! Even in the rain this was
    an excellent experience.
