Ocean Shores & Pacific Beach, WA Professional Review and Guide
"Several small communities lie along the Pacific, from Ocean Shores north. Ocean City (population: 500) is 8 miles to the north. Copalis Beach (population: 900) is 3.5 miles farther. Two miles above Pacific Beach is Moclips (population: 700). The village of Taholah is 9 miles north in the Quinault Indian Reservation, but there are no tourist facilities there, and the beaches are closed to the public.
At the southern end of this stretch is a peninsula that separates Grays Harbor from the ocean. Today it is a residential and resort area of about 6,000 acres, with 6 miles of ocean beach where residents and visitors enjoy flying kites, riding horses, fishing, clam digging, hiking, and searching the surf and drift lines for seaborne treasures."
