Ocean City State Park

Ocean City State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Ocean City State Park encompasses 170 acres, including 2,980 feet of coastline. The state’s purchase of the land in 1960 ensured permanent public access to the beach. American Indians of the region traditionally made regular seasonal stops here to hunt for razor clams.

Today the park is popular because of its sandy beach, easy accessibility, and proximity to shopping and restaurants in the town of Ocean Shores, 2 miles south."
