"Scenic Sahale Peak is known for its central location among the Cascades Peaks. The summit is a technical rock step, and the peak offers ski descents in two directions: either down the Quien Sabe Glacier into Boston Basin or down the Sahale Glacier and the Sahale Arm to Cascade Pass. This tour can be done as an out-and-back from either the Boston Basin side or Cascade Pass; alternatively it can be done as a traverse, up the Quien Sabe and over the summit of Sahale Peak."
