One of Washington’s most popular and beloved state parks, thousands of hikers take to Beacon Rock State Park’s namesake rock and Hamilton Mountain trails every year. But very few venture over to Hardy Ridge and its network of trails. Though this area is a playground primarily for equestrians and mountain bikers, even few of them flock to these trails. The flowers on Hardy are as showy as anywhere in the park, the views from the ridge just as good as from Hamilton, and it’s all experienced minus the masses.
