Silver Peak

Silver Peak Professional Review and Guide

"Silver Peak was among the first of the Snoqualmie peaks to be climbed on skis and remains a popular objective. A scenic approach, suitable for skis or snowshoes, can be made from the Hyak/Pacific West ski area or from the Keechelus Sno-Park, 1.5 miles south of Exit 54.

The latter point of departure avoids interference with the Nordic ski operation at Hyak. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; routefinding required; permit / fee area."
