Denny Creek to Kaleetan Lake

Denny Creek to Kaleetan Lake Professional Review and Guide

"The Denny Creek Trail leads to several Alpine Lakes. The three on this route are Melakwa Lake, Lower Tuscohatchie Lake, and Kaleetan Lake. The trail climbs long switchbacks to ridges that then drop a few hundred feet to the pristine lakes.

The trail is mostly runnable, with notable rocky scree exceptions. Several stunning waterfalls greet you first with their sound, then their sight, along the way. Though the upper trails may be closed from the first snow until summer, the beauty of this area makes it a must."
