Deep Creek Loop

Nine Mile Falls, Washington

Deep Creek Loop Professional Review and Guide

"Hike through mostly ponderosa pine forest above Deep Creek Canyon and take in the view of the rugged canyon and lava flows from Deep Creek Overlook. Then descend to the Centennial Trail next to Nine Mile Reservoir. Soon leave the broad, paved Centennial Trail and climb through the lava and jagged rock pinnacles to the forested bench above the west side of Deep Creek Canyon, and follow it back to the trailhead.

The hike description here may seem complicated because of the many trail junctions on this route. Watch the map closely as you hike, and the directions will become much simpler."
