Lodge Pole Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is the first campground you pass along the American River while driving toward Mount Rainier from the east. The campsites are situated in the pines.

As with most campgrounds in the vicinity, the primary activity is hiking. The Norse Peak Wilderness lies just to the north; the William O. Douglas Wilderness is to the south."
