Interurban Trail and Mukilteo Professional Review and Guide
"Patching together a bike route through urban and suburban neighborhoods, not to mention crossing city lines into different jurisdictions, is a long, arduous process. So it’s no surprise that the north section of the Interurban Trail, which runs from Shoreline to Everett, has been a patchwork project.
Just a few years ago, this 20-plus-mile route (nearly 45 if you make it a round-trip) was a meandering amalgam of streets, trail segments, sidewalks, even parking lots. But today, it includes fairly long stretches of trail, new overpasses over some of the busiest roads, and well-signed connections. As you ride north, offer silent thanks to the project managers and planners who have made this happen."
