"This self-guided interpretive trail presents grand learning experiences for youngsters and adults alike. The trail loops through the old forests and wetlands that help make Longmire such a rich natural area. It also provides great lessons in human history in the park, passing the very mineral springs that were first promoted by James Longmire in his original hotels and spa. The route even explores an old logging cabin erected in 1888 by James Longmire’s son." Read more
