Pacific Crest Trail

Pacific Crest Trail is a hiking and horse trail in Lewis County, Yakima County, King County, Kittitas County, and Pierce County, Washington. It is within Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Mount Rainier National Park, William O. Douglas Wilderness Area, and Norse Peak Wilderness Area. It is 59.6 miles long and begins at 3,455 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 119.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 26,583 feet. The Pyramid Peak Trailhead parking, the Sourdough Gap, Louisiana Saddle, Blue Bell Pass, Green Pass, Bear Gap, Rods Gap, and Pickhandle Gap saddles, Crown Point (elevation 6,355 feet) and Blowout Mountain (elevation 5,699 feet), and the Naches Ranger District (elevation 4,928 feet) forest can be seen along the trail. There are also parkings, horse parking, restrooms, information boards, and a meadow along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Naches Peak Loop Trail, Laughingwater Creek Trail, Crystal Lakes Trail, Bullion Basin Trail, Arch Rock Trail, Naches Trail, Norse Peak Trail, Goat Lake Trail, Basin Lake Trail, Maggie Creek Trail and Castle Mountain Trail.
