Ike Kinswa State Park

Ike Kinswa State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This campground offers 454 acres of fine scenery along Mayfield Lake and the Cowlitz River and Tilton River. In all, there are 8.7 miles of freshwater shoreline, including 400 feet of unguarded swimming beach. There are also 6 miles of hiking trails.

Motor boat and ski traffic is heavy on Mayfield Lake, but the shore still attracts ospreys and eagles that nest in the Douglas firs. The fishing is good too. There are two fish hatcheries nearby. Paddlers can enjoy the quieter waters of the Tilton River, which flows through a gorge and features several small waterfalls."
