High Log Trail at Blue Lake Creek Campground

High Log Trail at Blue Lake Creek Campground Professional Review and Guide

"Descend through a prime example of healthy second-growth Douglas fir timber to the banks of the rushing Cispus River. Be aware that swimming in or diving into the Cispus River could be dangerous.

Leaving the trailhead the wide, well-maintained trail descends gently through a healthy medium-age forest of Douglas fir. Sword ferns, Oregon grape, and a few bracken ferns cover the ground between the well-spaced trees. Because of its relatively low elevation, this is a good early season hike."
