Wynoochee Lake

Wynoochee Lake Professional Review and Guide

"Hike an up-and-down route around the forested shores of man-made Wynoochee Lake. From quiet coves, look out across clear waters to craggy peaks and scrappy hills. Traverse groves of old-growth forest harboring huge Douglas-firs.

Look for deer, bears, and elk, the latter abundant in this valley. This loop is long, but multiple access points off Forest Road 2270 allow for shorter, kid-friendly, and winter-hiking options. This trail is open to mountain bikes."
