Boundary Dam

Boundary Dam Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Boundary Dam area covers about 1,000 acres of wilderness terrain in northeastern Washington. The campground is in a beautiful forested setting on the west bank of the Pend Oreille River, which is hemmed in by precipitous rock walls that rise 100–200 feet.

The Salmo Priest Wilderness is on the east side of the river. Local wildlife includes elk, bears, and deer. Rainbow trout are not too hard to catch. Huckleberries are ready to pick beginning in early July."
