Bald Knob to Lower Loop Road Trailhead

Mead, Washington

Bald Knob to Lower Loop Road Trailhead Professional Review and Guide

"Descend through the high mountain forest from the Bald Knob Picnic Area and Trailhead into the Mount Spokane Ski Area. Enjoy the great views from the open runs and the fields of flowers and huckleberries. Then cross the Mount Spokane Summit Road and continue your descent to the junction with Mount Spokane Park Drive at the Lower Loop Road Trailhead.

Nearly this entire hike is through beautiful widely diverse old-growth or medium-age second-growth forest. White-tailed deer are common and may be seen anywhere along this route. Pets
must be on a leash and under physical control at all times. Mountain bikes allowed on this
route."
