Ragged Ridge Professional Review and Guide
"Ragged Ridge consists of a series of airy mountaintops trending northwest between Fisher Creek and Panther Creek. The ridge is 10 miles long but the major summits span only about 3 miles along the crest. Although the Fisher Creek Trail along the valley is frequented by backpackers and hikers, the high, rugged alpine country towering above is lonesome and seldom visited. This is partially because upward travel here requires a strenuous bushwhack through notoriously dense brush and slide alder. But once above timberline, the going is easier, although significant rutting and steep, loose talus prevent quick progress."
