Goat Peak Trail

Goat Peak Trail Professional Review and Guide

"A lookout that is still occupied (in fire season) is excitement enough to make this steep and rocky trail seem less steep and rocky. From the North Cascades Highway near Early Winters, you can point it out to the children—a tiny tower perched atop the Goat Wall at the highest point on the northern horizon. Once there, they can peer down to the highway where the cars look like brightly colored ants running along a black ribbon."
