The Pickets Traverse

The Pickets Traverse Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is as wild as it gets. The climax of the North Cascades, the Pickets offer the most remote and most rugged terrain in the state. A little-known secret is that they are perhaps easier to visit on skis than on foot.

However, many stars must align for this tour to be possible; every member of your group must have a high level of ?tness and a full array of ski mountaineering skills, the snowcover must be solid, and you need to wait for a spell of agreeable weather."
