Sahale Arm

Sahale Arm Professional Review and Guide

"Cascade Pass is one of the most spectacular, easily accessible viewpoints in the North Cascades. It is also the entry point for three spectacular high routes: the Ptarmigan Traverse, the Bullsnake Traverse, and the Teebone Ridge–Cascade Pass Traverse.

The skiing in the immediate vicinity of the pass is pretty good, too. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; glacier travel for summit climb; permit / fee area."
