South Spectacle Butte Professional Review and Guide
"The Spectacle Buttes are two rocky outcrops east of Mt. Maude in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. They lie in a pocket between the Entiat and Chelan mountains, framed on the north by the broad curve of the Entiat River, and on the south by the lesser curve of Ice Creek. A saddle separates two distinct high points. South Spectacle Butte, the true summit, resembles a pyramid with a large talus basin on the western side."
