North End of Lopez Island

North End of Lopez Island Professional Review and Guide

"Tour the north half of Lopez Island, cycling past Odlin County Park, Spencer Spit State Park, Lopez Island Vineyard, Hummel Lake, Lopez Village, and Otis Perkins Day Park. This scenic loop, originating at the Lopez ferry dock, will give you a good introduction to the north half of the island, with its historic farms, beaches, and rural shoreline.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to visit three of the island’s waterfront parks, where you can explore the shoreline or take one or several short hikes. The shops and restaurants of Lopez Village also make for a worthwhile stop."

short climb after ferry. Best to stay off center drive as is full of cars with little room on shoulders. the loop down to the park on the south end is worth the ride, rolling hills few cars and beautiful scenery. The bike shop is quite small with limited supplies, but the help is alot of fun.
