Mount Maude

Mount Maude Professional Review and Guide

"The Entiat Mountains are rugged, remote, and tall. Mount Maude is one of the few non-volcanic peaks in the state higher than 9,000 feet.

Its steep north face is a good ice climb, but the objective of this tour is the gentle south shoulder, which can be done in a long weekend if road conditions are suitable. Take an ice ax and crampons. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; routefinding required; permit / fee area."
