Leland Creek to Lake Leland

Leland Creek to Lake Leland Professional Review and Guide

"A long hike up Leland Creek to Lake Leland. Leland Creek is another major tributary of Icicle Creek. From the Icicle Creek junction, a lonesome trail leads over 5 miles up the creek to Lake Leland. A difficult creek crossing right at the start deters all the but the most determined hikers and fishermen and limits the season to late summer and fall.

Farther on, windfalls block the path. If this trail had reliable creek crossings and was maintained more regularly, it would be more popular. But then, if this hike became popular, where would anyone go to get away from the crowds?"
