Jack Creek

Jack Creek Professional Review and Guide

"A long backpack up lonesome Jack Creek to Stuart Pass, with side trail options. Jack Creek Trail follows a tributary of Icicle Creek some 12 miles to Stuart Pass, a high pass dividing Jack and Ingalls Creek drainages.

It is a long creek hike, with very little elevation gain except in the first and last miles. If you like long, easy hikes without much excitement but some solitude and get along well with horses, you will enjoy this hike. If you prefer lakes or mountain views, you may wish to try a different hike."
