Kettle Crest Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Amble along the lofty, lumpy spine of the Kettle River Range, savoring solitude and scenery. A transition zone between the coastal Cascades and interior Rockies, the Kettles are rich in biological diversity, a natural bridge between the two mountain ranges.
Through unbroken pine and larch forests and over high, broad summits carpeted in wild?owers, the Kettle Crest Trail
offers some of the ?nest alpine walking in Eastern Washington. Hike it piecemeal or all in one shot. **The Stickpin Fire of 2015 caused considerable damage to the northern third of this trail. Check with Ranger Station for current conditions.**"
