Columbia Mountain at Sherman Pass

Columbia Mountain at Sherman Pass Professional Review and Guide

"Located at Sherman Pass, where Washington Highway 20 crosses the Kettle Crest Range. This is just a small sample of the high quality subalpine singletrack trails found at Kettle Crest. The crest itself is a spine of more than dozen peaks running north-south from Sherman Pass to a hut 15 miles north (check the Kettle Falls Ranger District for reservations).

The trails connecting the pass and the hut are a legacy of old cattle drives, packsaddles, and engineless times. What remains is excellent singletrack! Kettle Crest trails are closed to motorized travel. The trail has 0.4 miles finest road and 8.8 miles singletrack."
