Three Summits

Three Summits Professional Review and Guide

"This route offers a variety of trail running experiences, from rapid ascents to technical descents. The steep Section Line Trail is a great place to practice a climbing walk. A very slow but steady walk up this grade can result in a heart rate equal to running on other trails.

Poo Top is a very technical trail with many short, descending turns through the trees. One View and Poo Poo Point Trails are also tricky but more open, allowing you to anticipate your movements. Adventure, Swamp, and Brink Trails are flatter but still provide the challenge of irregular terrain. This is an excellent, 2.5-hour trail run for the advanced trail runner."
