Granite Falls

Granite Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The South Fork Stillaguamish River drops 25 feet and then another 15 feet in its journey through the boulder- laden chute comprising Granite Falls.

A fish ladder underneath the grated viewing platform along the south side of the river helps salmon make it past the modest but nevertheless daunting cascades to spawn upstream. Below the falls, calmer water makes for a nice swimming hole or a great place to launch an inner tube for a long cool slow ride farther downstream."
