Windy Pass and Mount Catherine

Windy Pass and Mount Catherine Professional Review and Guide

"As you approach Snoqualmie Pass while driving east on Interstate 90, you notice a large forested mountain straight ahead. As you near its base, the road swings north in a large loop through the pass, then back south along Keechelus Lake before turning east once more. That big, forested mountain that pushed the highway on that northern jag is Mount Catherine, and snowshoers can explore its flanks and summit by trekking up the eastern side. Along the way, you’ll enjoy ample opportunities to experience wildlife, and some glorious views of the Snoqualmie Pass peaks."
